Even though five contestants are left on Project Runway, the three that made it to the runway already displayed their collections for the public to view... and photograph. I've been a huge Leanne fan from early on in the competition. The way she handles fabric and, yes, the details, caught my attention.
Her final collection stands out far beyond the rest. First off, it's a collection, a real collection. This isn't rare on PR, but what is rare is that a designer on the show comes out with a collection that uses color so successfully and consistently. Often, designers do black well *cough*Christian*cough* - but it still feels safe. For Leanne, color is not a problem. Her collection features beautiful whites, beiges, and pastel blues. The construction of the garmets is modern in its romantic movement meets structure. I hope she wins, but even if they give the grande prize away to someone else, this gal has one hell of a career ahead of her.

Beautiful use of color, though this garmet could use some more structure to contrast the flow.

The construction of the skirt portion of the dress is to-die for.

Not sure I'd wear that to my wedding, but I'm sure someone out there with thousands of dollars to spare could pull it off.
